Patricia Wise

We'll Miss You!

"A leader of AML private-public partnerships passed away early on Sunday, December 11.  Pat Wise, a dear friend, colleague and forward thinking AML professional was instrumental in both creating the successful West Coast AML Forum and advocating for law enforcement and bankers to work together in the all-encompassing challenge of combatting money laundering. Pat was a smart, gracious professional and extremely kind. She leaves a tremendous legacy on which we need to build. We are all better for having known Pat—a very sad day for the AML community."

"I met Pat in 2005 when I was extremely pregnant.  Pat Welcomed be into the WCAMLF family and made me feel so welcomed.  I will always cherish the times Pat treated me as her daughter and wanted updates on my son.  Pat was always concerned that everyone's needs were met, especially where food and drink were concerned.  Pat had a passion for fighting crime through BSA and AML.  She truly believed in the power of partnership and it is with this passion and belief Pat brought WCAMLF where it is today.  I will honor her passion for the remainder of my law enforcement career hoping to foster these partnerships and continue to fight crime using her vision of BSA/AML."
